NC Kat Volleyball
North Carolina Kids Ability Training was founded as a youth development program in January 2014. The teaching program quickly grew to become a successful program for players to learn basic skills. We are one of the few clubs in the area catering for very young age groups, providing structured sessions and technique focused teaching for beginners as well as our advanced players. Our facility is at a convenient location in Holly Springs, NC in Holly Springs Business Park. We have lots of dedicated and experienced coaches from all different volleyball backgrounds here at KAT and they provide the training excellence for our players to succeed. We pride ourselves on our individualized and personalized training and family community here at KAT. We love and know every girl and family that chooses to be a part of our Kat family.
The club owner and director, Erika Lyons, played competitively throughout her junior years up to college level in Brazil, as well as playing women's division I in the United Kingdom (2008). She has over ten years coaching experience with adult ladies, junior boys and girls (club teams), high school varsity, summer camps, private lessons, skill clinics and tournament organization.
In September 2014 the youth development program evolved to become a volleyball club.
